Hotel Ajit Bhawan Hotel

Ajit Bhawan Hotel, JodhpurAjit Bhawan was built for the usage of Maharaja Sir Ajit Singhji Rathore, the younger brother of Maharaja Umaid Singhji of Jodhpur. The Maharaja’s family still lives here and manages the property, offering regal hospitality to the guests.

Ajit Bhawan is India’s first heritage hotel, from way back in the 1950s. The accommodation includes Six Suites, Ten Luxury Tents and Fifty Eight rooms. Each room and suite has been furnished distinctly, to reflect the beauty and crafts of the region. Antiques and family add to the grace of the rooms and public areas. The suites have marble bathrooms. An old world elegance and understated luxury are the hallmark of Ajit Bhawan.

The rhombus shaped swimming pool here is stunning, with its natural rocky waterfall and is an excellent location for an afternoon tea at poolside. The dining experience is embellished by genuine silver ware. The restaurants are called Garden Restaurant, Jodhpur Cafe and Dhani.  There is a lounge bar and in-room dining is also available. Finest dishes from the traditional Rajasthani cuisines as well as other Indian cuisines are available for savoring.

Ajit Bhawan has a fleet of vintage cars for touring the city as well as for transfers. These include Buicks, Chevrolets and Ford cars.

Ajit Bhawan is situated on circuit house road in Jodhpur. It is just two kilometers from the city centre and three kilometers from the airport.
